7 June, Saturday (Queenstown)

Was woken up by sound of rain. Rain? Yeah, skiing trip had to be cancelled coz the mountain was closed. People here real honest. Willing to refund me but decided to postponed it to Mon. Just half a day before I rush off ok?

Meantime brought forward the shotover to today. But only managed to set off at 1130 when the rain stopped. Gosh it was chilling cold and I'm going out into the water! And I'm the only female on board! The ride was extremely fun and exciting! The water splashing on us was icy cold! Some got into my ear and I thought it froze in there. Haha. We even saw a beautiful rainbow across the river. Too bad I can't bring my camera on board. This is one of the main attraction in Queenstown. And the jet boat was invented by some fellow before I was born. What's special about it is that it can turn and spin at a really sharp angle. Many a times I was so close to the rocks! On the ride back up the river, the jet boat was going against the wind and the rain hitting onto my face was so painful like thousands of needles poking me! As I was walking back up to the café, thought the rain feels abit different. Hey it's hail stone! So beautiful! But also thank God it happen only after we ended our ride!

Checked out almost every corner in the town and had some really nice Indian mutton curry with rice. Went back for a hot bath and snuggling ta bed coz it's really cold. Read up on the brochure and really I missed out doing something. I didn't go to the toilet at Puzzling World! It's one of the main attraction! Must be the stupid cold and hunger that derive my brain from some brain juice. Had Kiwi burger from MacDonald for dinner. Nice! Usual beef patty with egg, cheese, beetroot, onion, tomato, lecttuce.
Thinking about tomorrow's trip to Milford. Will it be cancelled too? Please God, don't. Sudden dawn on me that there must be some reason why it rain. Well. Ya think about it. It's actually quite dangerous for me to go up alone and I only tried once. Seen quite a few people on crutches on the street. Thank God for protecting me through the nature. Alright I shall give it a miss but set dawn prayer condition that the weather will be great tomorrow for milford sound. Can check out Arrowtown on Mon instead. That's one of the location that they film Lord of the Rings. Speaking about it, I must catch the shows again to appreciate the scenary of New Zealand, where the show was filmed. Mostly around Queenstown I heard.
