Walked up to the Puzzling World. Told will take about 25 min but for my short leg? 40 min. Haha. But took a slow stroll up though. Really nice scenary along the way. Strong winds and rustling leaves. Ys this is how "rustling" really sounds like. Could felt God walking beside me. Prayed and praise to him. Real heavenly. At one point, the wind was so strong that it felt like God giving me a push. "Few more steps and you're there!"
Really fascinating place. Got the $12.50 combo ticket to both the illusion rooms and maze.let the phot tells about the rooms. Real cool! But what's really cool, physically was the maze! Took 25 min to locate all 4 points. Got proof ok. But spend another 25 min to find my way out! Gosh it's already so cold plus I only had 1 muesli bar 4 hours ago! Experience what is cold and hunger man! But didn't want to take the emergency exit. Must persevere on! Indeed the sense of satisfaction was real high when I found my way out! Tried out some puzzle while having my muffin and capuccino. Porrf of accomplishment available ok. Spent more time there. What to do, I have to wait for my bus to Queenstown at 425 and there is nothing else to do here. Had a stroll along the lake and enjoy few pages of my book. Sorry too cold. End up in Subway Cafe to continue my reading.
Trip down to Queenstown was a short and wandy one. Just 2 hrs. But it was already pitch dark when I reached there at 6 plus. Check out the travel counter at Base to plan for the itinenary for the next 3 days. I'm going skiing! Tomorrow ski, Sun for Milford Sound and round up with Shotover on Mon before catching the afternoon flight back to Auckland. Cool! But firt I have to bear with my cold hard cash. More than 400 bucks just for these 3 activities. Well, once in a life time, I'm telling myself. First a good night sleep at my cosy ensuite room at Base Discovery Lodge. Goodnight.
