Last day in NZ. Take a final walk round the city to bind farewell to this beautiful country. Indeed this is the most wonderful scenic place I have been so far. I don’t have to travel long hours to view the scenery as I had to in China and there are many variety here. The winter scene alone is so beautiful and I wonder how it would be like in other season. But I must say it is a really God blessed trip. He is with me all the way, guiding me to all the beautiful masterpieces He had created and protecting me from all danger.
And the last testimony I have to made is the episode at the Airport. At the check in counter, knowing that my luggage is probably overweight, I checked out the people at the counter and prayed that I will get the Asian guy, hoping that he would probably be more lenient since we are both yellow skin. Yes I got him when it was my turn but no, he was not so lenient. Tried to plead that I’m helping a friend to take things back and that I though the limit is 30kg. He gave me the most charming smile and told me that my check in luggage was 10kg over the 20kg limit and each extra kg will cost me NZ$25. Fine I had to repack my pack, throwing away all that I can throw but still end up with a 21kg luggage and 8 kg hand carry. This time round I pray to God and tried a local instead. He gave me a wink and a “shhh” and I cleared my luggage. Phew. Just as I though everything is fine, I was stop by the entrance to the departure hall to be told that I cannot bring 8 kg on board; I have to pay for it and check it in! I was directed here and there and finally when someone was willing to attend to me, I only have 15 min left to board the plane! Was panicking but keep praying to calm myself down and seek God’s help. Now it’s not the money issue but the time factor! I need to catch the plane! And indeed God answer my prayer once again by making the person realise that I need to catch the plane urgently. So she just gave me a slip and allowed me to pass the custom without paying a single cent! God, thank you so much! This is indeed a trip that is filled with lots of grace from God from the beginning till the end
